Senior Accountant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting practices and procedures of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a group of general accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining the inter company accounts.
  • Implement accounting policies under direction of the Accounting Manager.
  • Implements processes and procedures that properly capture, track, and account inter company transactions (AR & AP).

Requirements:

  1. College degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  2. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
  3. Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, including some supervisory experience.

Competencies:

  • Effective communication skills with ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify control weaknesses and develop remediation plans.
  • Leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor staff members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical accounting knowledge with ability to apply US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
