Deputy General Manager Finishing Job Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to lead and manage the finishing operations of our fabric mill.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including bleaching, dyeing, printing, washing, and other finishing processes.
    • Ensure production schedules are met and customer delivery commitments are upheld.
    • Monitor machine utilization, efficiency, and workflow for optimal capacity.
  • Quality Management:
    • Oversee quality control processes to meet customer specifications and international standards.
    • Drive initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
    • Implement best practices for process consistency and product reliability.
  • Process Enhancement & Innovation:
    • Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Introduce new finishing techniques and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
    • Collaborate with R&D and technical teams on process development and new product trials.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Maintain standards in line with customer audits, certifications, and sustainability requirements.
    • Enforce adherence to EHS guidelines within the finishing operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Production Management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in fabric finishing, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role in a reputed fabric/textile mill.
