Senior Financial Manager

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in finance management. This position involves leading the finance department and overseeing various financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Oversight: Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
- GST Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Indian GST laws and regulations, ensuring accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), reconciliations, and GST audits or queries.
- SAP Business One & SQL: Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1, utilizing advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
- Closing & Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, preparing and presenting accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
- Audits & Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years progressive accounting experience within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One, strong SQL skills for report development and SAP backend analysis.
- Functional Skills: Deep expertise in Indian GST laws, Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
