About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Social Mobilizer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Girl s Education program at the field level, providing support and guidance to girls, schools, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program activities aligned with our program design and objectives;
  • Provide life skills sessions to girls, ensuring they develop essential skills for their personal and academic growth;
  • Mentor and support girls, addressing challenges they face in their lives;
  • Organize community meetings and consultations with school staff, parents, and community members to discuss life skill content and issues;
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to create a resource pool for referrals and networking opportunities;
  • Conduct home visits and school visits to track girl progress and provide support as needed;
  • Update records of attendance and parent meetings, prepare weekly plans, and submit reports as required;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A bachelor s degree in education or social sciences;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the education or development sector, including internships;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi;
  • Strong planning and project implementation skills;
  • Ability to work in remote areas and travel to communities for meetings;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset;
