Job Title: Business Security Strategist

Location: Remote Work Environment

Duration: Long-Term Engagement

Job Description:

The primary objective of the Business Security Strategist is to design, implement and advise on security measures within the organization's Workday application. This encompasses domain security policies, roles and role assignments.

This expert will collaborate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security features.

They must stay informed about divisional and data security and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Participation in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards, is also a key responsibility.

Staying current on new security features within the application's future roadmap, and implementing them where possible, is crucial.

Audits on system roles and access logs must be performed to ensure accuracy.

Demonstrating proof of security controls during internal and external audits is also a requirement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday security features and controls
  • Familiarity with SOX and data privacy regulations
  • Ability to collect and analyze information to understand and assess clients' needs and situation
  • Working knowledge of HR/Finance information systems, data models organization structures and roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and ability to enforce adherence to security policies and practices
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
