Job Title:

Cybersecurity Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our security posture across cloud, applications, and enterprise infrastructure.

This is a senior permanent role where the candidate will be expected to lead the Cyber Security vertical, ensuring robust governance, scalability, and long-term resilience for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Security Leadership
    • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide security architecture and frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
    • Lead secure SDLC adoption, threat modeling, application security reviews, and WAF implementation.
    • Drive DevSecOps practices, including automation of compliance checks, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.
  • Cybersecurity Vertical Ownership
    • Establish and grow the Cybersecurity team from the ground up, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
    • Act as the head of the Cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting.
    • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Partner with leadership to balance business needs with security risk tolerance.
    • Continuously improve security policies, procedures, and audit readiness.
  • Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response
    • Work with SOC and Incident Response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
    • Develop and optimize incident response playbooks to improve containment, recovery, and resilience.
    • Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to reduce exposure to malicious events.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices.
    • Provide strategic mentorship on threat trends, secure coding, and compliance.
    • Lead documentation, training, and awareness programs to promote a strong security culture.
