Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a critical leadership role in our Technology Service Management team. As an Assistant to Vice President, you will play a key part in driving growth and stability across the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Service Management platform, ensuring seamless operations that align with business needs and ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform administration: Ensure the smooth operation of the Service Management platform, including AI-driven automations and integrations.
  • Licence management: Oversee licence management, ensuring compliance with agreements and optimal utilization.
  • Driving policies and procedures: Develop and implement governance frameworks for the Service Management platform.
  • Initiate and lead tool enhancements and automations: Collaborate with teams to design and implement process improvements through tool enhancements and automation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise: Offer expert guidance on ITSM and CMDB tool architecture and service map configurations.
  • Manage vendors and contracts: Oversee vendor relationships, manage contracts, and track performance.
  • Prepare annual team budget: Develop and manage the team's annual budget.
  • Manage and mentor the team: Lead and develop a high-performing team of technical resources, focusing on driving organizational objectives and platform stability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of BMC Helix ITSM, specifically Helix ITSM (SaaS) and Helix Discovery.
  • Experience working with AI technologies, particularly GPT, and their application in Service Management.
  • Knowledge of Common Data Model (CDM) and CMDB configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with Management Information System (MIS) development and license management.
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and Human-Centered Design (HCD).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
