About the Role:

This role focuses on driving growth and analytics strategies for our clients, utilizing expertise in data science, statistics, and economics to inform business decisions.

Key responsibilities include conducting cohort analysis, calculating key growth metrics, building attribution models, collaborating with data engineers, developing SQL queries, creating interactive dashboards, designing A/B testing frameworks, partnering with client teams, conducting market research, and creating predictive models.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar analytical role, preferably in mobile app or SaaS environments.
  3. Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis, with specific experience in Snowflake data warehousing.
  4. Advanced experience with Metabase for creating interactive dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
  5. Demonstrated experience with mobile attribution platforms, with specific expertise in AppsFlyer data analysis and reporting.
  6. Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  7. Deep understanding of mobile app growth metrics including LTV, CAC, ROAS, retention rates, and revenue attribution models.
  8. Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
  9. Experience with A/B testing methodologies, experimental design, and statistical significance testing.
  10. Experience working as a contractor or consultant, with ability to quickly integrate into client teams and deliver results.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
  2. Experience with additional BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  3. Knowledge of ETL processes, data pipeline development, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  4. Experience with machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and customer behavior modeling.
  5. Previous experience in mobile gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or other high-growth mobile app industries.
  6. Knowledge of additional mobile analytics platforms (Adjust, Branch, Singular) and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  7. Understanding of incrementality testing, media mix modeling, and privacy-first measurement approaches.
  8. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and their impact on analytics and attribution.
  9. Previous consulting experience with successful client engagements and proven track record of driving data-driven decisions.
  10. Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to translate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
