IT Control Testing Expert

We are seeking a seasoned IT control testing professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT audit, security, and control testing with a focus on designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test plans.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effectiveness of IT controls by identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience working with IT control testing tools.

Additionally, they will have a solid understanding of IT controls frameworks and methodologies, as well as familiarity with GRC platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.

As an IT control testing expert, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage and provide training and guidance to clients and internal teams on OT security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans to evaluate ITGCs and ITACs.
  • Lead and coordinate the response to OT security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop remediation plans to address security gaps.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients and internal teams on OT security best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT SOC, engineering, and risk management, to ensure comprehensive security coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-7 years of experience in IT audit, IT security, or a similar role with a focus on IT control testing.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT controls frameworks and IT control testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or other GRC platforms.
  • Experience with IT control testing tools is a must.
