Performance Tester

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and scalability of our software applications.

About the Role

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for testing and problem-solving to contribute to the development of high-quality software applications.
  • As a Performance Tester, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance issues, develop test plans and execute tests, and collaborate on the implementation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans, including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing, to ensure that software applications meet performance requirements.
  2. Identify and report performance issues to development teams, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolution.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements and ensure that changes do not negatively impact system performance.
  4. Conduct thorough investigations into performance issues, working closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand root causes and implement fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years combined Java and JavaScript development and QA experience with performance tools.
  • Strong understanding of software performance testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with continuous deployment tools & methodology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Bonus Requirements

  • Java, JEE.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Database technologies including Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.
  • Cloud/SAAS Deployment into Google Cloud, AWS and Azure.
  • Physical and virtual Networking.
  • YML Scripting.
  • Working knowledge of performance testing and tuning.
  • Working knowledge of FMEA and integration testing.
  • DevOps tools such as Helm, Harness, Google Cloud Build, Chef, Terraform etc.
  • High volume systems including a working knowledge of performance testing and tuning.
  • REST Web Services.
  • Working in a scaled agile environment.
