We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Business Valuation to join our team and take on the role of leading our Valuation Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex financial instruments, including convertible notes, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, interest rate derivatives, common and preferred stock, private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with centers of influence and professionals.
- Effectively manage overall client relationships to exceed client satisfaction.
- Manage the fundamentals (realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses).
- Be a thought leader in the field of business valuation.
- Mentor, coach, and train staff members.
- Successfully integrate strategy across the firm.
- Promote cross-selling and integrating services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Math, Financial Mathematics, or related area of study).
- Professional certifications such as ABV/CPA, ASA, or CFA.
- Experience valuing complex financial instruments.
- Experience with Option Pricing Models, Monte Carlo models, and coding languages such as MatLab, R, etc.
