Senior Asset Finance Specialist

Job Role
Cognizant seeks a seasoned Asset Finance professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK Asset Finance market, particularly in leasing, hire purchase, and stage payment loans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements as a domain subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios, ensuring business process assurance.
- Lead and support UAT/SIT phases, guaranteeing alignment with business expectations and terminology.
- Review and validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
- Contribute to data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including GL concepts.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams, facilitating seamless communication and delivery.
- Leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.
- Provide insights into Asset Finance workflows, encompassing POS, rescheduling, novation, asset handling, stock audits, inspections, and recoveries.
Requirements:
- 4 –14+ years of experience in Asset Finance, preferably in the UK market.
- Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets like equity).
