Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mental health support on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions within student hostels.
  • Manage student appointments through our secure portal system.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and undertake floor walks to enhance student accessibility and trust.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, records, and reports while adhering to confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness campaigns and well-being initiatives across campus.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology is mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with youth or academic mental health (1-8 years) or a strong interest is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging students empathetically and approachably.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including night shifts, is required.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi (Bengali is an asset).
  • Willingness to stay on campus is necessary.
