Job Description:

The ServiceNow IRM Engineer will play a key role in designing scalable solutions across the Compliance and Risk domains, leveraging expertise in cutting-edge technology to deliver optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver projects on time, contributing to all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Author technical and implementation design documentation.
  • Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards, offering coaching and mentoring on design and coding techniques to engineers in scrum teams.
  • Assist with updates to program specification/implementation documentation.
  • Collaborate with scrum teams to prepare configurations for production.
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing - review test scripts; align with wider testing strategy.
  • Escalate, provide feedback, and propose changes to implementation specifications.
  • Consult with product owners to drive their requirements to success.
  • Contribute to technical roadmap and architectural direction based on product roadmaps. This includes supporting product evaluations through tooling recommendations based on gaps/needs, as well as helping to identify 3rd party technical and security strengths/gaps as period assessments of tooling as business/climate needs evolve and products offered change.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines.
  • 4-8+ years of development experience.
  • 2-6+ years hands-on experience in ServiceNow including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions/components in ServiceNow Suite (full-cycle implementation).
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, Integrations, and CMDB.
  • Experience using applicable programming methodologies: JavaScript, API (Restful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, Angular JS.
  • GCP working knowledge.
  • Prior technical experience of systems analysis/programming.
  • Experience building/executing JS utilities.
  • Hold ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials.
  • Conceptual architecture knowledge.
  • 3+ years Agile Framework experience as well as hands-on Scaled Agile Framework experience.
  • Machine Learning or Generative AI knowledge is a plus, not mandatory.
