Job Overview

This role will be instrumental in managing the development and execution of data governance initiatives at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an enterprise-wide data governance strategy, framework, and processes, including data ownership, stewardship, quality, and accountability frameworks.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for data owners and stewards across business units by defining and enforcing data ownership and stewardship.
  • Facilitate cross-functional stewardship programs and councils to ensure accountability for authoritative data sources, data quality, accuracy, lineage, privacy, and compliance.
  • Drive data quality and integrity initiatives by developing and implementing data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
  • Remediate data issues and improve trust in enterprise data assets by collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Classify data assets based on sensitivity, regulatory impact, and business value, and partner with Privacy, Security, and Legal teams to ensure appropriate controls are applied to sensitive and regulated data.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures aligned with privacy regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to execute against well-defined procedures and processes.
  • Foundational technical expertise, including business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and deal with change and ambiguity in a diverse environment.
