Mainframe and Enterprise Application Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Mainframe and COBOL Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise-level IBM Mainframe applications.
The successful candidate should possess deep expertise in MF Batch Processing, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
- Write, modify, and optimize JCL scripts for batch processing.
- Work extensively with DB2, IMS, and VSAM for data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain CICS transaction processing applications.
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimizations.
- Develop and implement mainframe modernization strategies, including integration with distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and bug fixes.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
