Are you a skilled Mainframe Developer seeking new challenges? We are looking for an experienced professional with strong skills in CA7 Workload Automation, iDash Endevor, DB2, VSAM, JCL, COBOL, and IBM Mainframe Utilities.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience. This developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using COBOL, JCL, and IBM Mainframe Utilities.

This developer will utilize CA7 Workload Automation-iDash for job scheduling and monitoring. They will also manage source code and version control using Endevor.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing database solutions with DB2.

They will work with VSAM for data storage and retrieval and create and maintain COBOL copybooks for data structure definitions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of software components.

Responsibilities include conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers, troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.

Additionally, the developer will ensure software applications meet quality standards and project requirements.

Participating in requirement analysis and design discussions is also essential.

Finally, providing technical support and guidance to junior team members is crucial for success in this role.
