System Integration Lead

Lead the implementation of middleware-based API and system integrations for our WealthTech platform. This is a critical leadership role that ensures seamless integration between our core wealth management platform and external systems and services.

You'll be responsible for bridging product, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive successful integration delivery with APIs, message queues, and file-based systems.

  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely and secure rollouts.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
  • Coordinate middleware service requirements between developers and business teams.
  • Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SFTP.
  • Validate data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules.
  • Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.
  • Document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.
Key Qualifications:
  • 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations.
  • Mandatory: Experience in the wealth management / WealthTech / BFSI investment domain.
  • Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with API management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
