Internal Audit Role

A key member of the internal audit team is required to ensure compliance, efficiency and effectiveness across various business areas.

  • Conduct thorough audits of operational processes, assessing controls over financial reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in a comprehensive risk assessment exercise to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze accounting documentation, previous reports, process flowcharts and other relevant materials to inform audit decisions.
  • Collaborate with the head of internal audit on conducting fraud investigations and other directed tasks.
  • Ensure timely completion of the audit plan and deliver high-quality results.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports reflecting audit outcomes and documenting processes.
  • Support the head of internal audit in preparing audit committee reports and papers.
  • Perform follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and identify areas for process improvement.

Required qualifications include a strong background in internal audit with 2-3 years of experience as an assistant manager/deputy manager or 5-6 years as a manager. Relevant industry experience in manufacturing is essential. Proficiency in SAP, MS Office and analytical tools is also required.

Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills are necessary for success in this role.
