Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a commercially and operationally astute leader to help drive business growth and expansion in our Indian operations. This role is part of our leadership succession plan, with the current Country Head transitioning out in the foreseeable future.

The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of leadership experience in the API/pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial or general management role. They should have proven success in managing and growing international API client relationships, as well as strong knowledge of the API development and manufacturing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include leading strategic and operational initiatives in India, driving business growth through value-based selling, and building strong relationships with key global pharmaceutical clients. The successful candidate will also be expected to travel for business development, client meetings, plant visits, and international collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent business acumen, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 60% both within India and internationally. You will also require demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports and cross-functional teams, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategy with execution.
