System Administrator Position

We are seeking a seasoned Linux professional with extensive experience in managing Linux operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain RedHat (6/7/8), CentOS, and other Linux distributions by performing tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Unix/Linux Administration: Build and configure virtual machines, install software packages, manage file permissions, tune system performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation of the system.
  • Performance Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system performance issues, manage system services, and harden systems to prevent potential security threats.
  • Cloud Administration: Experience working in VMware environments is highly desirable, along with knowledge of cloud administration (AWS, Azure, Google).

Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education/training.
  • Degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant professional certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, CCENT, VMware VCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with enterprise systems for monitoring.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking in LAN/WAN environments and customer-facing experience are highly desirable.
