Job Title: Embedded Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain secure firmware for embedded systems.
  • Implement security policies, protocols, and standards to ensure data protection and system integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test secure hardware and software components.
  • Optimize performance, power consumption, and memory usage of security-related code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve security measures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security standards, guidelines, and best practices within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data security and privacy.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of computer systems architecture, including CPU, memory, and I/O subsystems.
  • Proficiency in C programming language and experience with embedded systems development.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, such as Secure Coding Guidelines and Code Review processes.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption.
  • Experience with secure boot mechanisms, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), and Hardware-based Security Features.
  • Good understanding of operating system concepts, including process management, memory management, and file systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
