We are currently seeking an accomplished Embedded Security Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, cybersecurity principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the runtime Security Advisor to guarantee each release of the SDK meets internal and external security standards, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations.
  • Provide expert guidance in architecting, designing, and threat model mentoring to members during development cycles. Conduct thorough code reviews as part of the Secure Development Lifecycle process.
  • Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime security issues and related technical debt in 3rd party packages reported from internal and external sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree (BS in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field)
  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows
  • Strong programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with common cybersecurity issues in C/C++. Knowledge of Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu.
  • Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Code Analysis, and Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Fuzz testing
