Job Overview

The role of an Audit Manager is a critical one, where you will lead a team of specialists responsible for preparing and submitting reports. This includes statutory financial statements, direct and indirect taxes including tax filing, and other regulatory requirements. Your task will be to ensure timely completion of financial statements and tax returns in adherence to global and local policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management: As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading dispersed teams for audit and taxation. You will provide guidance, coaching and support to team members, fostering an environment conducive to achieving individual and collective goals.
  2. Leadership: The ability to provide leadership and mentorship to your team members is crucial. You will need to coach and guide them, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely submission of all tax returns reporting/filing, declarations and mandated reports is essential. You will also manage obligations related to indirect tax, statistics information and other financial requirements for compliance with local laws and regulations.
  4. Financial Statements: As the Audit Manager, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements in alignment with Local GAAP.
  5. Tax Calculation: You will calculate current, advance and deferred tax in alignment with our accounting policies based on IFRS.
  6. Transfer Pricing Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations through the maintenance of local transfer pricing files is vital.
  7. Audit Management: Efficiently coordinating external audit processes, ensuring both time and cost effectiveness, is a key responsibility.
  8. External Relationships: Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors, including tax advisors, is crucial to optimize external expertise.
  9. Process Improvement and Standardization: Cultivating a Continuous Process Improvement (CI) mindset, challenging the status quo to identify the most efficient ways of working, is essential. You will collaborate with the Global Tax Manager to implement process standardization and best practice policies.
  10. Tax Planning and Projects: Supporting the Global Tax Manager in tax planning and strategic projects is a key aspect of this role.
  11. Documentation: Establishing and maintaining work instructions to ensure transparency and consistency is important.
  12. Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating operational risks, acting as an escalation point to drive issue resolution, is a critical responsibility.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Educational Level:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant

- Professional Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

- Experience in a multi-national environment

- Leadership expertise with a readiness to manage remote teams across different locations

- Analytical skills, Decision-making skills, Change management skills

- Proactive attitude

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Language

Good written and spoken English is essential
