Barista Job Description

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage department. Your primary responsibility will be to exert diligent financial process control in accordance with company and business procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the efficient running of the food and beverage department by ensuring all financial processes are controlled effectively.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort by sourcing quality products and delivering exceptional service.
  • Takes ownership of duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, ensuring hotel initiatives and targets are achieved.
  • Collaborates with immediate reports to ensure costs and inventory are controlled, productivity and performance levels are attained.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships while promoting company culture and values.
  • Ensures adherence to all legislation, performing follow-up as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
  • Personal integrity with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.
