Job Opportunity: Product Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee and manage various hardware and software projects within the Software Engineering organisation.

This role offers significant exposure to and collaboration with the broader global business.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Architecture, to ensure end-to-end product architecture and requirements alignment.
  • Ensure cohesion across software, mechanical, and electrical teams.
  • Guarantee integration readiness for each product milestone.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the hardware & software engineering function at our India site.
  • Enhance, train, and support teams in adopting and adhering to best practices, governance standards, tools, and templates.
  • Promote effective use of development, testing, tracking, and communication tools across teams.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to prioritise and assign engineering work across teams.
  • Provide regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and the broader business on progress, issues, and risks.
  • Lead technical documentation, design reviews, and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage product milestones, activities, tasks, and changes through formal systems.

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive engineering strategies to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Leading high-performing teams to deliver complex projects and meet business objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Proven experience as an engineering manager or leader in a similar field.
  • Strong technical expertise in software and hardware engineering.
