Celebrity Cruises seeks a skilled Pastry Chef Tournant to join our dynamic culinary team.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Pastry Shop following established protocols.
  • Produce high-quality pastries and desserts for daily menus.
  • Assist with production forecasting, recording leftovers, and maintaining food costs within budget.
  • Set up pastry displays in buffets.
  • Maintain knowledge of US Public Health regulations.
  • Clean the Pastry Shop according to schedule minimizing equipment damage.
  • Prepare the pastry galley for inspections.
  • Requisition necessary items from main stores to the pastry shop.
  • Ensure recipes and yields meet company standards.
  • Complete daily pastry consumption recap as requested by the Executive Chef.
  • Aware of ship's standard operating procedures and assist guests and crew members with inquiries.
  • Attend meetings training activities and other work-related activities as required.
Qualifications and Education:
  • Minimum three years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel resort or cruise ship (shipboard experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques requirements and equipment use.
  • High school diploma or basic education equivalency requirement.
