Job Title: Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

A key member of a dynamic team is sought to protect the world's leading global sports streaming platform. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex security incidents and conducting thorough investigations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring security alerts from various tools. This includes Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, Defender for Endpoint, WIZ, AWS WAFv2, Tenable, and other security platforms.

The role also involves leading incident response activities from initial detection through remediation to prevention. Conducting root cause analysis and recommending actionable steps to prevent future occurrences are essential duties.

Triage and investigation of security alerts, determining true positives from false positives, are critical skills required for this position.

Threat Intelligence & Analysis

The successful candidate will monitor and analyze global threat intelligence trends with potential impact on business operations. Analyzing threat feeds and real-time attack data, focusing on threats targeting broadcasting and streaming environments, is a key responsibility.

Configuring new detection rules and alerts based on emerging threats or lessons learned from incident analysis is an important duty.

Security Operations Enhancement

Developing and implementing new processes to strengthen the security operations program is a key objective. Contributing to custom automation tool development to enhance monitoring and response capabilities is an important aspect of the role.

Collaborating with the team to continuously improve security monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments is a critical skill.

Stakeholder Support

Responding to internal security-related questions and requests from teams across the organization is a key responsibility. Providing security and privacy expertise to support multiple business units and technical teams is an important duty.

Participating in security awareness initiatives and educating colleagues on security best practices is a critical aspect of the role.

We're looking for a strong passion for cybersecurity, particularly threat detection and response. Essential requirements include experience handling complex security incidents and conducting investigations, knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains, and familiarity with SIEM platforms and security tools.
