Security Operations Analyst Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Operations Analyst to lead our incident response efforts and drive security excellence in our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with 5+ years of experience in security operations and incident response, strong background in threat detection, SIEM, and analytics tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to design and implement effective detection rules.

  • Design and implement effective detection rules using organizational risks and threats.
  • Analyze log formats, sources, and parsing for accurate data utilization.
  • Implement and monitor use cases on SIEM and analytics tools such as Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk.
  • Define thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
  • Align use cases with actionable intelligence for incident response workflows.
  • Create and optimize KPI/KRI reports to track detection and response performance.
  • Refine use cases and adjust logic periodically based on analysis of alert data.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in security operations and incident response.
  • Strong background in threat detection, SIEM, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective detection rules.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with incident response workflows and playbook development.
