Job Description:

The BIM Coordinator will serve as a key link between design, documentation, and digital execution. This role blends hands-on BIM modeling and documentation with strategic oversight and team mentorship.

You'll collaborate with project architects, designers, and global studios to ensure seamless integration of design technology and BIM workflows across various project phases.

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 8–12 years in a design or architectural firm with BIM coordinator responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate BIM efforts across architecture and interior design projects
  • Collaborate with global BIM leaders and project teams to implement firm-wide standards and best practices
  • Model and manage complex Revit-based architectural projects across all design phases
  • Train, mentor, and support project teams on BIM execution strategies and workflows
  • Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, Revit templates, and content libraries
  • Conduct quality control checks for Revit models and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders for clash detection and model coordination using tools like Navisworks
  • Facilitate inter-studio collaboration through federated models, cloud-based platforms (BIM 360 / ACC - Autodesk Construction Cloud), and collaborative tools
  • Troubleshoot software issues and serve as the technical go-to for Revit, Dynamo, and other design technology tools
  • Maintain project documentation in alignment with firm-wide BIM protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related design discipline
  • Strong command of Revit and Autodesk tools (Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, AutoCAD)
  • Experience in complex architecture or interiors projects — preferably across healthcare, education, hospitality, or residential typologies
  • Working knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, Enscape, or other visualization/scripting tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to liaise with global teams, consultants, and non-BIM stakeholders
  • Proactive, process-driven, and able to balance both strategy and execution
