Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Risk Management Director.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to assess and mitigate risks associated with our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing overall audit processes within the organization.

This includes developing annual audit plans based on risk assessments and regulatory requirements, planning and executing internal audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as monitoring regulatory compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.

In addition, the Risk Management Director will be responsible for evaluating and identifying potential risks within various operational areas of the company, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to risk management and auditing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field with 8+ years of experience with minimum 2-3 years of audit-related experience in the mutual fund industry preferred.
  • Professional certification or post-graduation such as an MBA is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for this role.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques, audit principles, and regulatory requirements applicable to mutual funds.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders, present audit findings, and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies.
