Strategic Risk Director Opportunity

We seek a highly experienced Strategic Risk Director to join our organization and lead the development of comprehensive risk strategies aligned with broader business objectives.

  • Drive the creation of multi-year roadmaps that integrate risk initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring seamless execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish our organization as a thought leader in risk management by crafting compelling narratives, frameworks, and insights that resonate with industry stakeholders.
  • Design and implement content management frameworks to centralize high-quality thought leadership content, streamline delivery channels, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop stakeholder governance frameworks to facilitate efficient execution, drive quality outputs, and accelerate strategic initiatives.
  • Plan and execute strategic events, conferences, webinars, and client roundtables to showcase risk capabilities and foster meaningful industry dialogue.

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of strategy development and execution experience at top-tier management consulting firms or equivalent roles at major multinational financial institutions.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) from a top-tier institution with strong analytical and quantitative foundations.
  • Deep experience in financial services required; payments industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, drive implementation, and deliver measurable outcomes without constant supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving strategic initiatives in fast-paced environments and delivering measurable results.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong ownership mindset who thrives in ambiguous situations.

Communication & Analytical Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into compelling storylines and strategic narratives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong capability in developing high-quality thought leadership materials and executive-level presentations.
