
Strategic International Trade Relationships Specialist

As an International Trade Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring quality current accounts customers who are dealing in international trade.
You will identify target markets and segments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory norms while acquiring new customers. Your role will also involve guiding clients on rates and charges, activating the first trade transaction, and exploring potential trade and FES products like forward contracts, LCs, BGs, BCs, travel cards, etc.
You will ensure that clients maintain high CA/AMB values in their accounts, generate asset leads, and hand over customers to the branch operations team smoothly. You will educate customers on cut-off times and follow SLAs/TATs to maintain a low cost of acquisition by acquiring bigger value accounts.
Your key responsibilities will include achieving business income targets, keeping updated about AML/KYC/RBI guidelines, and ensuring growth through compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will also be responsible for retaining existing customers, handling customer complaints, and escalating issues to competent authorities for resolutions.
Additionally, you will deliver sales pitches for respective products, submit required reports timely, execute promotional activities conveyed by ASM/RSM, plan and organize promotional activities, and update RSM on market practices and competitor strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree (PG preferable), 1-3 years of experience in trade/FX/FES preferably in the banking industry, excellent domain knowledge, exhaustive knowledge of trade and FES products, excellent sales skills, client behavior engagement, geographic segments knowledge, high energy levels, enthusiasm, winning attitudes, out-of-the-box thinking, problem-solving skills, good listening and communication skills, negotiation skills, and result-oriented mindset.
