About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Professional to lead and execute advanced Port and Marine structure design including FEM analyses using Plaxis 2D/3D.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to take on a challenging role, utilizing their technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and collaborative mindset to deliver high-impact solutions across a variety of infrastructure domains.

  • Lead and execute advanced Port and Marine structure design projects, applying knowledge of constitutive soil models and ground behavior simulation.
  • Develop and apply constitutive soil models to accurately simulate ground behavior.
  • Integrate ground characterization data into modeling workflows, ensuring accurate results.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geotechnical, structural, and marine engineering disciplines, driving innovative solutions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on Port and Marine structures.
  • Proven expertise in Plaxis 2D and 3D software.
  • Strong understanding of constitutive laws and soil-structure interaction principles.
  • Broad experience in modeling various geotechnical structures.
  • Solid knowledge of ground investigation and characterization techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a track record of success.
  • Proficiency in coding/scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and data processing is a plus.
