Inventory Management Specialist

About the Role

The Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer demands, and driving operational efficiency across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in demand and supply planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate demand forecasts based on sales data from online and offline channels.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective inventory control, including production planning, warehouse operations, and transportation management.
  • Analyze and optimize inventory turnover, lead times, and fill rates to meet business goals.
  • Implement Lean/Six Sigma principles to drive process improvements and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  1. 1-4 years of experience in demand and supply planning, inventory management, or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, preferably SAP/MM.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  4. Proficiency in data handling tools, such as Excel, MIS, and Dashboards.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in a Plant or similar environment.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification.
