Job Overview:

The HR Risk Lead plays a pivotal role in driving business outcomes by spearheading risk management activities within the HR function.

This strategic position involves developing and implementing risk management strategies, ensuring seamless delivery of HR activities, and fostering effective communication across departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing comprehensive risk management frameworks for the HR function.
  • Leading functional and leadership communications to drive change management initiatives.
  • Representing HR in centralized risk management forums and projects, providing critical insights into HR risk management.
  • Interpreting central requests and facilitating delivery of required work within HR.
  • Owning controls testing for HR; provision of related assurance and tracking remediation and control/documentation improvements.
  • Ensuring HR compliance through continued evolution of compliance programs/controls and challenging processes/activities through testing.
  • Designing new risk-related programs of work to address emerging strategic HR risk management issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters/Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years experience in Project management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in HR Risk
  • 8+ years experience in Risk or Audit Management
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
