Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement process and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels at warehouses, identify slow-moving items, and implement corrective actions to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Purchase Vendor Development: Foster effective communication with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality materials, meeting our organizational needs.
  • Supply Chain Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics costs, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Store Operations: Manage material receipt, storage, and dispatch processes, ensuring efficient store operations and minimizing waste.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to finished goods, inventory management, and warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement.
  • Purchasing Records: Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation, providing insights for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field, accompanied by 4-6 years of experience in procurement activities within the manufacturing industry, including import and export expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchase operations, strategies, and best practices, as well as negotiation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, ERP, Tally, etc.
  • Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management, along with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English language is required for this role.
