Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing costs associated with specialized systems within construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration. The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study the project scope in-line with design requirements.
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team.
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client requirement deliveries.
  • Validate bill of quantities (BOQs) and backup workings.
  • Present BOQs and solutions to management for approval.
  • Check and verify request for amendment (RA) bills and final bills.
  • Prepare amendments as required.
  • Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design.
  • Explore new products and take them to approvals.
  • Propose different optimization options in budgets.
  • Complete budget requirements within given time-frames (TAT) without delays.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.
