Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Role Overview:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and select suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize procurement costs.
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand technical requirements.
  • Maintain vendor databases and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes in EPC/Projects/Water Industry.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials.
  • Vendor development and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Negotiation and cost optimization skills.
  • ERP/Procurement software knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
