Senior Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer Position

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions and optimizing the performance of our enterprise application environment. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To thoroughly understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • To work independently, applying a deep dive approach to concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer:
  • To debug existing AX customizations.
  • To trace and comprehend business logic in X++ and SQL.
  • To extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server.
  • To write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration.
  • To perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality.
  • To create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
