
Employee Engagement Specialist

Job Overview:
The role of an Employee Engagement Specialist is a crucial position that involves building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, both internal and external. This position requires a professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop retention strategies, facilitate team building, and enhance overall team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to create and implement employee engagement initiatives, including pulse surveys and focus groups.
- Act as an advisor to employees and managers, addressing conflicts, red flags from pulse surveys, and disciplinary concerns while promoting an inclusive work environment.
- Manage probation extensions, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and behavioral issues, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
- Conduct onboarding activities, including floor walks and meet-and-greet sessions, to ensure new hires align with company culture and expectations.
- Ensure employees are well-informed about benefits and entitlements, handling sensitive cases with empathy and discretion.
- Participate in performance appraisals and goal-setting processes, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, stay interviews, and exit interviews to support talent management and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MBA in Human Resources or related field with 3-4 years of experience in HRBP roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proven influencing, negotiation, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
