Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Senior Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in procurement and supply chain management. As a key member of the strategic sourcing team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely procurement, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.
- Evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Use software tools (ERP or similar) to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.
- Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
