Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the EMS industry. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of electronic component sourcing, BOM analysis, and supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.
- Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.
- Build and manage vendor relationships; evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Use software tools to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.
- Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.
- Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with procurement software tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
