Job Title: Data Fabric Leader

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Fabric Leader to oversee the design and implementation of scalable and secure data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering high-quality data solutions.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, integrating with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

 

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 9-12 years of experience in data engineering and leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric projects.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.

 

What We Offer:

This is a remote contract position with a competitive rate of $16 per hour. IST shift and extendable contract terms apply.
