Seeking a seasoned data architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable big data architectures using Google Cloud Platform services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in big data, data modelling, design, architecting & solutioning.

  • Maintain architecture principles, guidelines and standards for data warehousing solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable Big Data architectures using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Develop expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Utilize GCP Services including BigQuery, BigTable, CloudSQL, Dataproc, Data Flow, Data Fusion, etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Big Data, data modelling, design, architecting & solutioning.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R-Scala programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Google Data Studio or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with A/B Testing, Statistics, Agile Development, DevOps, Date Engineering, ETL Data Processing.
  • Expertise in migrating production Hadoop Cluster to Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in Big Query, Dataproc, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Bigtable, Fire Store, CloudSQL, Cloud Spanner, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Cloud Interconnect, etc.

Certifications:

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is an added advantage.
