Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design professional to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing and firefighting systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role

  • Design Development:

    Develop concept designs, design schematics, design development, and construction designs of plumbing and firefighting systems as per architect layouts, client requirements, and specifications.

  • Tender Drawing:

    Create tender drawings of plumbing and firefighting systems (waste, soil, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher system).

  • Calculated Notes:

    Provide calculated notes if required.

  • Shop Drawings:

    Prepare shop drawings for submission and resubmission (plumbing, fire fighting system drawing).

  • Material Selection:

    Select and prepare materials for submission.

  • Supplier Communication:

    Communicate with suppliers to request quotations and technical documents if required.

  • BOQ Preparation:

    Take off BOQ of firefighting and plumbing system (sprinkler head, pipe, sanitary fixture unit).

  • Project Coordination:

    Prepare information regarding design, structure specification, material, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.

  • MPE Functionality:

    Consult with consultants to determine MEP functionality and spatial requirements.

  • Team Collaboration:

    Closely coordinate with electrical, mechanical, architecture, and structural teams.

  • Work Supervision:

    Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.

  • Project Planning:

    Plan project layout.

  • Drawings and Reports:

    Prepare scale drawings, technical reports, and installation instructions.

  • Reporting and Scheduling:

    Prepare project schedules, designs, constructions, progress reports, daily reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports.

  • Material Lists and Costing:

    Prepare material lists and costing for bidding.

Requirements

    Proficiency in designing and developing plumbing and firefighting systems, including knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.

    Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including architects, clients, and contractors.
