Electrical Design Engineer Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing electrical systems for medium voltage switchgear. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our equipment meets the highest standards of quality and safety.



About the Role:
  • You will work closely with our manufacturing and testing functions to ensure that designs are appropriately manufactured and tested.
  • You will contribute to the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments, adhering to relevant standards, safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
  • Collaboration is essential in this role as you will work alongside cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications.
  • Contribute to design reviews and design verification, modifying the design as necessary.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials for projects, ensuring that they meet contractual obligations and project gross margin requirements.


Requirements:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in designing medium voltage switchgear (AIS).
  • Hands-on experience in preparing Bills of Materials, Schematics, Single Line Diagrams, and Manufacturing Releases.
  • Enhanced knowledge of EPLAN software.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
