We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Team Lead to join our team.

This role requires a strong technical background with 6-8 years of experience in data center networking, including 1-3 years of experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) specifically in private cloud & virtualization domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, install, maintain and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure, including physical and SDN network framework.
  • Ensure high availability, flexibility and network performance, and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Maintain, audit, review and update infrastructure documentation.
  • Collaborate with the client and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents and requests.
  • Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical guidance and expertise where required. Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance and capacity metrics to assess risks, business impact and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare, review and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concept.

Requirements:
  • This is a technical role with 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and hands-on technical expertise with a keen eye on compliance of business SLAs and goals.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.), Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q), QoS, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools (SNMP, NetFlow , Zabbix, PRTG etc.) and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
