About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures that meet our business needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security, including AWS services such as IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, Control Tower, and KMS. You will also have a solid understanding of Kubernetes/EKS workloads, focusing on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security.

You will work closely with our Infosec team to recommend and implement security best practices and collaborate with Application and Infrastructure teams to understand their SecOps requirements. Additionally, you will identify security gaps and drive initiatives aligned with business goals to strengthen our overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure secure cloud architectures using AWS services
  • Implement and manage AWS security tools, including IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, KMS, and Control Tower guardrails
  • Securely manage and maintain next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and their integration into our AWS workloads
  • Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (Trivy, SonarQube, Codecov, Inspector) to enforce quality gates
  • Set up and tune CSPM and SIEM platforms, and deploy WAF (Cloudflare), IDS/IPS solutions for active threat detection and mitigation
  • Build secure automation workflows using Linux fundamentals, scripting, and IaC for repeatable, auditable infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services
  • Experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security
  • Solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals
  • Practical knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF solutions, and firewall appliances
  • Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools
  • Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix, scripting, and cloud automation
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to balance speed with security
