Chargeback Manager

The primary objective of this role is to implement chargeback management processes that minimize financial losses for the bank, merchants, and cardholders. Effective dispute resolution is key to achieving this goal, while also ensuring compliance with card scheme regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promptly handle daily chargeback cases to minimize exposure for all parties involved. Investigate disputes thoroughly and ensure accurate documentation to defend against unwarranted chargebacks.
  • Analyze dispute data to identify high-risk merchants, transaction types, or patterns leading to chargebacks. Collaborate with merchants to implement fraud prevention tools, transaction verification processes, and best practices to reduce disputes.
  • Design and implement operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution, maintaining strong financial controls that align with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
